What Is Anxiety?
Anxiety is a natural human emotion characterized by feelings of worry, nervousness, or unease, often about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome. While occasional anxiety is normal, persistent and excessive worry that interferes with daily life may indicate an anxiety disorder, which can manifest in various ways, including panic attacks, phobias, and social anxiety.
There is effective treatment available for anxiety & panic disorders.
We consider your unique needs, values, and personal choices to create an effective anxiety treatment plan. Anxiety treatment may include…

Psychiatric Evaluations
We provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for individuals experiencing anxiety and panic disorders, which involve detailed assessments of symptoms, medical history, and psychological factors. This process helps us accurately diagnose the specific nature of the disorder, identify any co-occurring conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans. By understanding the underlying causes and unique symptom patterns, our evaluations enable targeted interventions such as therapy, medication, or a combination of both, ultimately helping patients manage their symptoms more effectively, reduce distress, and improve their overall quality of life.

Medication Management
Psychopharmacological management involves the use of medications to alleviate anxiety symptoms. Antidepressants, such as Selective Serotonin reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) and Serotonin-Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors (SNRIs), are commonly prescribed for anxiety disorders. These medications work by regulating neurotransmitters in the brain that are involved in mood and anxiety.

Therapy
Therapy plays a vital role in supporting individuals to understand and manage their anxiety by providing a safe space for exploration and guidance. Through Therapy, clients can gain insight into their anxiety disorders, explore underlying causes, identify symptoms, and develop personalized strategies for managing their condition. Counselors also help clients understand the mind-body connection and how lifestyle factors like sleep, diet, and exercise influence anxiety. By fostering awareness and teaching practical coping skills, Therapy empowers individuals to take an active role in their recovery and build resilience over time.
